GED Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Assists with the administration of treatments under specific instruction and supervision of a licensed therapist. Maintains the department and treatment areas in a safe and clean condition. Maintains supplies necessary for daily operation of the clinic/department. Assists patients with routine ambulation under direction of the nursing staff (Porter Acute Care). Provides supervision of community aquatics programs. (PPC) Assists in collecting and maintaining information related to therapy treatment information.Qualifications:
Education High school education or equivalent required. Prefer college student with declared major or enrollment in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupation Therapy, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or other health related field (i.e., nursing, physical education, etc.) Skills with computer and typing preferred. Experience Prefer hospital experience with direct patient care. Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. Compensation $14.29- 23.
