Centric Home Health and Hospice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team. In this role, you will provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist and help improve patients' mobility, function, and quality of life. Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments according to physician orders and the established plan of care. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and treatment activities. Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist. Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Educate patients and caregivers on therapy programs and safety practices. Follow infection control and patient safety standards. Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state PTA license. Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. One year of experience preferred. Valid driver license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Work Environment Care provided in patient homes under varying conditions. Exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids possible. Requires local travel and ability to work a flexible schedule. May involve prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
