Inpatient Med/Surg Rehab Location:
Stillwater, OK.
Schedule:
Full-Time | On-site Monday-Friday (Saturdays and Holidays on rotation).
Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision and Many more.
Caseload:
depends on patient census but equally divided every morning.
Salary:
$59,633.60

WellTech partners partnering with an Acute Care and Rehab team is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy services on a full-time basis.
Common patient types include:
evaluating and treating total joints, spine, other medical & surgical diagnoses .
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing, under the direction of a physical therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the positions qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current license to practice as a PTA in Oklahoma (or license eligible). Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures. Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is required. Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred. Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) for most of the shift. Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally. Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping. Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
