9683842-97007 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant serving schools throughout the greater Beaverton, OR area. This engaging opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, supporting students physical therapy plans and making a positive impact across all NCSD sites. The position runs from November 12th, 2026 through February 11th, 2027, with scheduled breaks from November 22nd to 27th and December 21st to January 3rd to align with school holidays. Your work hours will be from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, offering stable daytime scheduling. Youll support all 30 schools in the district, traveling to different locations as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license required Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly desirable Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle to commute between sites Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with PTs, educational teams, and students Adaptability to varying caseloads and settings within the district
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy interventions to students under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists Collect and document data on student progress in alignment with individualized therapy plans Participate in meetings and trainings as needed Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and student positioning Support a range of student needs and communicate clearly with staff and families Experience a dynamic role where every day brings new opportunities to help students reach their fullest potential.
