Job Description

Enthusiastic Pediatrics is looking for a compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our mobile therapy team. This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working with children, values flexibility, and thrives in natural environments such as homes, daycares, community settings, and aquatic therapy locations. You will support children and young adults (birth-21) with developmental delays or special developmental needs by carrying out treatment plans created by a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Provide pediatric physical therapy treatments under the direction of a supervising PT Implement therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and play‑based interventions Assist with manual therapy and modalities as appropriate Educate families on home programs, positioning, and safe movement strategies Document patient progress and communicate updates to the PT Deliver high‑quality, family‑centered care in home and community settings Qualifications Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Oregon Experience or strong interest in pediatrics Ability to work with diverse families and developmental needs Strong communication, empathy, and patient‑care skills Familiarity with documentation and medical terminology Experience in home‑based or community‑based therapy (preferred) What We Offer Flexible scheduling — build a caseload that fits your life Meaningful work — help children grow and thrive in their natural environments Supportive team culture — close collaboration with PTs and caregivers Autonomy within your scope — hands‑on care with strong PT support If you're passionate about helping children reach their highest potential, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay:
$32.00 - $55.00 per hour
