In this role, you will deliver expert guidance and personalized therapeutic exercise programs designed to improve clients' physical health, mobility, and overall well-being. We are a multidisciplinary clinic offering physical rehabilitation, chiropractic care, massage therapy and acupuncture and we are looking to add to our team of rehab assistants/personal trainers to help our patients move and feel better. On top of gaining experience in a medical type setting, you get paid your hourly rate even when a client no shows or cancels, unlike most gym settings. Previous experience with exercise instruction or personal training is required. Duties Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, manual handling, and body mechanics to ensure safe execution of routines Motivate clients through energetic coaching, fostering a positive environment that encourages progress and confidence, while building a strong rapport. Monitor client performance during sessions, providing real-time feedback and adjustments based on biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics principles Experience Certification in personal training from a recognized organization is required; additional certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid are mandatory Proven experience in rehab or personal training within the fitness industry or health club environment Knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for designing safe and effective programs Demonstrated ability to create customized workout plans based on individual assessments and goals
Schedule:
