Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Chiropractic Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist to support daily office operations. This role is responsible for managing front desk duties, assisting patients through their visit, and supporting the chiropractor with basic therapies and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Greet patients warmly and check them in and out efficiently Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system Handle patient paperwork, intake forms, and office documentation Process payments and manage billing-related tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with typing skills including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone. Familiarity with health information management practices is a plus. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office workflow management. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and health information privacy regulations. Patient Flow & Office Coordination:
Manage patient flow to ensure timely and smooth transitions throughout the office Communicate effectively with patients regarding wait times and scheduling changes Coordinate with the chiropractor and staff to keep daily operations running efficiently Clinical Assistance (Training Provided): Assist the chiropractor with patient therapies and treatments Set up and clean therapy areas and equipment Guide patients through prescribed therapies as directed by the doctor Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Basic computer skills and ability to learn office software systems Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Work Environment:
Fast-paced chiropractic office setting Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of equipment Direct interaction with patients throughout the day

Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
