Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location:
Asbury Bethany Village | Mechanicsburg, PA Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Asbury Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania . If you enjoy working with older adults and like being part of a close, collaborative therapy team, this could be a really nice fit. You'll work closely with our Physical Therapists and the rest of the care team to help residents stay active, safe, confident, and as independent as possible. Just as importantly, you'll have the chance to get to know the residents you work with and see the difference your care makes over time. At Benchmark, we believe good therapy happens when clinicians feel supported, trusted, and connected to their team. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, safety, and functional independence Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs Encourage residents and help them build confidence as they work toward greater independence Communicate progress, changes in condition, and treatment needs with the supervising PT Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems Work closely with the therapy team to provide consistent, coordinated care Help create a positive and supportive environment for both residents and coworkers What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Pennsylvania PTA license in good standing Someone who genuinely enjoys working with older adults Strong communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative, dependable teammate Senior living, long-term care, or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer As a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant , you'll have access to: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off with full annual rollover and no rollover cap 6 paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Access to CEU360 for continuing education Supplemental and ancillary benefit options, including voluntary life, accident, critical illness, and other available coverage Support from an experienced clinical and operational team A team environment where your contribution really matters Benchmark Therapies has been working with senior living communities since 2005, and we've always tried to keep things personal and hands-on.
