Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Sage Clinic | Newtown Square, PA $21-$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Performance bonus opportunities available About the Position Sage Clinic is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant to join our clinical team, with a primary focus on advanced musculoskeletal therapies including Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), spinal decompression, and rehabilitation . Experience performing X-rays is highly preferred but not required . Additional starting compensation is available for candidates who are already qualified to perform radiologic procedures in a Pennsylvania chiropractic office. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in massage therapy, radiologic technology, exercise science, kinesiology, physical therapy/rehabilitation, chiropractic care, athletic training, personal training, sports medicine, or another hands-on healthcare field who enjoys working directly with patients and wants to develop a specialized clinical role. We are willing to train the right person. What You'll Do The long-term primary focus of this position will be helping manage and deliver our growing Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) program . You will receive hands-on training in the technology, treatment procedures, anatomy and clinical protocols necessary to become highly proficient in this area.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing doctor-directed Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) treatments Working one-on-one with patients throughout their treatment sessions Explaining procedures and helping patients understand what to expect Preparing patients and treatment areas for therapy Operating and maintaining shockwave therapy equipment Becoming trained and proficient in non-surgical spinal decompression Setting up and monitoring patients receiving spinal decompression Assisting patients with rehabilitation therapies and therapeutic equipment Maintaining accurate treatment documentation Cleaning and preparing equipment and treatment areas between patients Assisting with patient flow throughout the clinical area Supporting the doctors and clinical team as needed X-Ray Experience — A Significant Plus Candidates with X-ray/radiography experience are strongly encouraged to apply. If you are currently qualified to perform radiologic procedures in a Pennsylvania chiropractic office, we consider that a valuable additional skill and offer higher starting compensation based on your qualifications and experience . X-ray qualifications are not required to apply . For the right candidate without X-ray qualifications, there may also be an opportunity to pursue the appropriate education and examination requirements after hire. Candidates with education or experience in any of the following areas may be particularly well suited for this position: Massage Therapy Radiologic Technology / X-ray Exercise Science Kinesiology Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Aide Rehabilitation Athletic Training Personal Training Sports Medicine Chiropractic Assisting Other hands-on healthcare or musculoskeletal fields Training & Professional Growth We want this position to become more than a traditional assistant role. The person we hire will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills in: Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) Non-surgical spinal decompression Rehabilitation therapies Musculoskeletal anatomy and clinical applications Advanced therapeutic technologies Chiropractic radiography, when appropriate As our shockwave therapy program grows, there will also be opportunities for performance-based bonuses tied to the growth and success of the program . Compensation Starting pay:
$21-$28 per hour , depending on education, experience, clinical background, and qualifications. Candidates who are already qualified to perform radiologic procedures in a Pennsylvania chiropractic office may qualify for higher starting compensation. Additional performance-based bonus opportunities will be available as our shockwave therapy program grows.
