Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Oil City Nursing and Rehab We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team at Oil City Nursing and Rehab, a renowned healthcare provider in Oil City, Pennsylvania. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents, with the goal of helping them achieve optimal physical function, independence, and well-being. Role:
As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. You will provide various forms of therapy, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, to help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will also be utilized to educate patients and their families on proper techniques for daily living activities, as well as provide support and encouragement to promote continued progress.Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Conduct physical therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, to help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals Monitor and record resident progress, reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for daily living activities Provide support and encouragement to promote resident progress and independence Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive careRequirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsWhat We Offer:
