Job Description
Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant Location:
Ware Presbyterian Village | Oxford, PA Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, Pennsylvania. This could be a great fit for a PTA who enjoys working with older adults and wants flexible hours while still having the opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on care. You'll help residents improve mobility, safety, confidence, and independence while working alongside a supportive therapy team. This position has no regular monthly commitment. We simply ask that per diem team members work at least once every six months to remain active on our roster. What You'll Do Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, confidence, and independence Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs and goals Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Communicate resident progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems Collaborate with PT, OT, speech therapy, and interdisciplinary team members Contribute to a positive and supportive therapy environment What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing A genuine interest in working with older adults Strong communication and collaboration skills A dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach About the Per Diem Opportunity Flexible scheduling No regular monthly coverage requirement Work at least once every six months to remain active Supportive and approachable clinical leadership Opportunities to collaborate with experienced PT, OT, and speech therapy professionals Meaningful one-on-one time with residents Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule or stay connected to patient care, we'd be happy to share more about the opportunity and our team at Ware Presbyterian Village.Benefits
