Job Description

Overview Our office is seeking a full-time, long-term Medical Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team and work alongside our chiropractor. The ideal candidate will be adept in both administrative and clinical tasks, providing daily patient interaction, managing appointment scheduling, handling insurance verification, and supporting patient care activities. Responsibilities Serves visitors with professionalism by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately with good people skills: in person and over the phone. Answering phones, scheduling & rescheduling patients, patient follow-ups, collecting payments, patients' paperwork/documents/files, ect. Insurance verifications and authorizations. Request patients past medical records when needed, ect. Help the doctor with daily therapy treatments: set/start/stop muscle stimulation and spinalator therapies. Perform height, weight, & BP on new patients.
Maintains HIPAA compliance with:
computer/software, scheduling, documentation, telecommunications, insurance portals, ect. Keeps and maintains safe and clean office spaces with organization/filing/cleaning as needed. Demonstrates initiative and is willing to assist with additional office responsibilities as needed Answers emails, faxes, and mail from clients, insurances, ect. Maintaining office social media presence (as needed) Preferred Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age 1+ years of experience in patient care Certificate in Medical Assistance or a related field Proficiency in patient care, medical reception, insurance verification, and EHR management Experience with scheduling, payment processing, and customer service Strong communication and multitasking skills
Hours Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
8:15am - 1pm, 2pm-6pm
Tuesday and Friday:
8:15am - 3pm No weekends Why Join Our Team?
