Overview Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) | Reading, PA, US | Start 08/24/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,386-$1,458 per week | Guaranteed 35 hours | Shift 08:00-16:30, 5x8 days | Skilled Nursing Facility setting Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,386-$1,458 per week Guaranteed hours: 35 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks

environment Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter support Responsibilities Implement and assist with PT treatment plans for long-term acute care patients under supervision Support therapeutic activities: gait training, ROM, progressive strengthening, transfers, and functional tasks Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes to supervising PT Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, and activity strategies Ensure patient safety, proper equipment use, and adherence to infection control and facility policies Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the charting system per policy Requirements Active PTA license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure Ability to work in a long-term acute care / skilled nursing environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Eligibility to work in the United States Ability to meet credentialing and background check requirements for the assignment Willingness to adhere to facility policies and participate in required trainings Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours and weekly pay per week 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the placement Access to travel opportunities nationwide through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Find more opportunities If you'd like to explore other openings, apply at Healthforce Healthcare LLC here: https://healthforce.applytojob.
