Job Description

This role is a fill time Chiropractic Assistant position for the Rebersburg, PA location. We are seeking a patient care assistant to join our team. This position does not require any formal certifications and will be trained in-house. This role must enjoy direct patient care, and the candidate should be able to work in a busy, fast paced environment, be a problem solver, and enjoy making patients smile. This role is great for someone who wants make a difference and continue to learn about health and wellness services in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Open the clinic in the morning, turn on lights, computers, machines and all equipment. Assist the doctors with ice and heat packs and therapies Keep back of house organized
  • patient charts and paperwork; data entry into patient charts regarding treatment and frequency of care plans.
Ensure doctor stays on time and ensure smooth flow of patient's throughout their visit. Communicate with doctors regarding which rooms are ready. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation protocols in all treatment rooms and reception area Set up patients on muscle stimulation, traction and spinal decompression therapy. Apply heat and ice pack to patients following doctor orders. Take patient to treatment rooms, help with wellness services such as HydroMassage and Red Light treatments. Close down the clinic at night, turn off lights, clean all tables, equipment and machines, take out all trash, vacuum. Lean about chiropractic care Maintain patient charting for each office visit and ensure proper services and charges are entered in a timely manner Assist with X-ray registration, foot scans, patient charting and documentation Assist the front desk with answering phone calls Schedule patient appointments Prepping paperwork and chart prep Qualifications High school equivalent or GED Willingness to train and learn new things Detail oriented Loves helping people Does not mind working closely with patients Team player Customer service experience is a must
HOURS:
Monday-8:45AM-7:00 pm Tuesday
  • OFF Wednesday
  • 8:45AM-7:00 pm Thursday-8:45AM-7:00 pm Friday
  • OFF Saturday & Sunday-OFF, Office closed all major Holidays.
