Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our physical therapy staff to provide high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and evaluating patient progress.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct occupational therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist Evaluate patient progress and report results to the physical therapy team Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans Participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement Provide patient education and training to promote independent living and community integration
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (new graduates welcome to apply!) Ability to work a full-time schedule (36 hours per week) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Live, Play + Grow at Rochester Residence and Care Center - join our team and experience the rewards of working in a dynamic and supportive environment!
