This clinic is looking for a motivated medical assistant who will handle medical assisting duties and administrative tasks. Our clinic is conveniently located in downtown Washington, DC directly off L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Part- Time includes 20-30 hours a week. Full-time must be able to commit at least 30-40 hours a week.
Benefits:
Competitive salary of $30-35/hr depending on prior experience and work performance. After 30 days you will be considered for additional bonuses based on performance, and ability to receive raises rapidly every month depending on efficiency and work-load management. As you are able to multi-task and assume more responsibilities around the clinic, your salary will increase to compensate. Work schedule is flexible with advanced notification of your schedule. Clinical duties include preparing treatment rooms, setting up rehab therapies, scribing, and assisting doctor with tasks. Administrative duties include collecting payments, answering calls and emails, and insurance. All job duties and responsibilities will be taught on the job with a paid week of training and shadowing. The current staff as well as the doctor will on board and train you until you are comfortable completing job duties alone. Ideal Candidate Motivated health professional who will handle medical assisting and administrative duties Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Must be energetic and respectful Must have excellent attention to detail Proficient in basic technological skills such as Gmail, Microsoft Word, social media, navigating online insurance verification portals, setting up devices Must be proficient in basic math, spelling, and grammar Reside in the DMV area and ability to commute easily (our clinic is located in downtown Washington DC directly off L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station and garage parking available) Ability to speak Spanish or Mandarin is a plus, but not required. DISC is the premier chiropractic and acupuncture clinic serving the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Our office is conveniently located in downtown DC, directly off L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station with ample of street and garage parking. Our office offers high-quality, customized chiropractic care, acupuncture, soft-tissue therapy, spinal traction, and injury rehabilitation.
