Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful, part-time contract supporting the educational community by facilitating virtual physical therapy sessions for students. This opportunity runs from October 2nd through the end of the school year, offering a flexible schedule tailored for those seeking to make a difference in a school setting. With just 10 hours per week, this role is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to balance professional development with other commitments.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required Comfort working in a virtual/remote environment Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate with educational and therapy teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual physical therapy sessions to students in a supportive, engaging manner Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in meetings and collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and educational staff to ensure student needs are met Modify and adapt therapy approaches as needed for an online setting Develop positive relationships with students and their families
