Experience Prior experience or familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, or clinic environments is preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology enhances your ability to support clinical staff effectively. Experience working in post-acute care settings such as sub-acute or geriatrics is advantageous. Background in orthopedics or hospital medicine can provide valuable context for patient needs. Sub-acute care experience helps develop skills in managing complex cases involving mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude are essential for fostering positive patient interactions.
