Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant for 2 Facilities to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physcial therapy practices, with a passion for patient care and rehabilitation. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, assisting patients across diverse settings, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and improve quality of life through expert care and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Conduct clinical assessments and document progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with electronic health records (EHR) management standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and caregivers to optimize patient outcomes. Provide compassionate patient care, including education on exercises, discharge planning, and home health recommendations. Contribute to the development of care plans for diverse populations such as geriatrics, and patients recovering from acute or chronic conditions. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Proven experience in physical therapy treatment implementation skilled nursing facility. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation standards. Strong communication skills for effective caregiver and client interaction across diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Pay:
