Physical Therapist Assistant Part Time Outpatient

Flexible Scheduling Designed for You We know many great PTAs balance important responsibilities outside the clinic. Our flexible structure is built for real life — whether you're a caregiver, a seasoned clinician scaling back, or looking to blend outpatient with other pursuits.
Consistent weekly schedule Minimum commitment:
2 days / 8 hours per week Maximum hours: Up to 29 hours per week This role is ideal for: Caregivers managing family or household responsibilities Experienced PTAs wanting to stay clinically active with reduced hours Clinicians transitioning between career phases or settings PTAs seeking work-life balance without leaving patient care What You'll Do Patient Care & Advocacy Deliver and progress therapeutic interventions per the PT's plan of care Build strong patient relationships to promote attendance and engagement Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT Documentation & Compliance Complete accurate, timely, and defensible EMR documentation Ensure notes support ethical and optimal billing within PTA scope Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the supervising PT Team & Culture Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical team members for smooth clinic flow Engage in mentorship and team support to set everyone up for success Participate in community events that connect ProMotion to the communities we serve Explore niche development in collaboration with supervising PTs and in alignment with company direction Grow into a full-time role if life circumstances change and the opportunity aligns What Makes You Successful Here You believe in the transformative power of physical therapy You deliver exceptional patient experiences that drive loyalty and advocacy You communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately You are organized and detail-oriented, even in a busy clinic You balance fun, creativity, and empathy with strong clinical reasoning You are motivated to grow clinically and professionally Requirements Licensed PTA in South Carolina or compact state (or upcoming graduate) Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills Ability to remain active — standing, walking, and assisting patients throughout the day Performance Expectations We set clear goals and support you in reaching them. Once onboarded, you'll work toward: Quality care defined as Net Promoter Score (NPS) 90 or above Accessible care defined as 1.333 visits per hour or above (typically 5-6 patients in a 4-hour day) Accurate, timely, and defensible EMR documentation Why ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine?
