Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently Schedule appointments using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Clean different parts of the office including clinical space Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with health insurance claims and billing processes, including medical collection efforts Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Support clinical staff by preparing care plans, reviewing documentation, and managing medical coding including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding, and Medicare requirements Handle phone communication professionally, providing excellent customer service and appointment reminders Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical records efficiently Experience Prior clinic experience in a healthcare or dental setting is highly preferred Experience with medical billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and insurance claims processing Familiarity with health insurance policies including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks with professionalism and accuracy Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record management software Previous clerical experience in a busy office environment emphasizing customer service and phone etiquette Radiology experience or interest is preferred Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to improving patient care through efficient operations and compassionate service.
