- Responsibilities
- + Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
+ Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
+ Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
+ Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
+ Complete accurate and timely documentation.
+ Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
- LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- + Associate degree from an accredited PTA program. + Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice. + New graduates encouraged to apply. + Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred. + Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
