Job Description

The full-time Therapy Technician position is responsible to assist Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapists in preparatory management of patient care and assists Rehab staff with support needs.
General Duties:
Clean the treatment rooms between patients. (Return equipment used to proper location, move furniture to original position, replace pillowcase, wipe down table, empty garbage if over-flowing). Assist flow of patient care with exercise instruction. Be cross trained in front desk duties, including: answering the phone, taking messages, forwarding calls, paging therapists. Pull patient charts for clinic prep. Prep hot packs and cold packs for therapist as directed. Prep other modality treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, fluidotherapy for therapist as directed. Complete general maintenance of the exercise equipment and fluidotherapy per schedule. Weekly inventory and stocking for PT and OT.

Abilities:
Candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast paced clinic. Ability and skill to use department equipment properly and effectively. Ability and skill to work cooperatively with all clinical and non-clinical staff to assure quality patient care.
Requirements:
Standard hours Monday-Friday, vary as needed, starting at 7am. Traveling between Morningside, Northside, Moville and Dunes locations required. If you are interested in this position, please complete an on-line application at www.cnos.net.
