Chiropractic Assistant is a member of our team who serves to assist our awesome patients in the office by ensuring each patient has a GREAT experience in the office as well as ensuring the doctor has everything needed to ensure they give our patients the absolute best experience ever! You will work with the rest of the team to make life impacts in the community. Essentially, you will be responsible for all aspects of the patients' experience in our clinics. From managing patient accounts and payments to ensuring patients are exceptionally happy during their experience, the Chiropractic Assistant performs many roles! What experience does a Chiropractic Assistant need? None! Our Chiropractic Assistant will receive hands-on training and will learn from an amazing team! The most important thing is that you are coachable and ready to do what it takes to change lives!
General Responsibilities Include:
Having a positive attitude Handling patient charts and personal information Collecting payments Comply with standards & systems created by management (including scripting) Knowledgeable of microsoft computer functions and applications (microsoft & excel) Knowledgeable of google applications HIPAA compliant Facilitate initial training of patients on set therapies, reviewing at home assignments with patients and assisting patients with therapy as needed. Upkeep of front desk and office areas Management of daily schedules/calendar
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Checking patients in/out Opening and Closing Helping with the flow of office Must be aware of patient and Doctor needs and instructions. Completing Day 1 and Day 2 of new patient procedures Oversight of patient scheduling/clinic calendars Educate patients on office therapies and at home therapies Filling out inventory sheet needed for ordering supplies Make NP goodie bags Restock supplies (face paper, water, shirts and products etc) Keep all inventory organized including T-Shirt display and back room Update chalkboards Assist Doctors with GBMF, Proxy and LW4L referrals Scheduling appointments New patient welcome calls Report of Finding reminder calls Oversee daily collections and financial presentation/ agreement implementation Scan all ppw and file appropriately Complete goals given for lives impacted (new patients) per month Perform meet and greets to businesses and organizations, offering free lunch and learns or wellness checks Schedule and participate in community events to offer free spinal screenings
Network:
referrals/ GBMF from clinics, Chambers of Commerce events, personal contacts, social media contacts, etc. Regularly update and follow-up on contacts Maintain schedule of events Lunch and Learn food purchases Community Events (expos, fairs, etc) Daily checklist Upkeep the Lives Impacted Tracker with payments Other duties as necessary to help the team achieve goals
