Rehab Group, a leader in the rehabilitation community, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to primarily work in our outpatient physical therapy clinic in Morristown, TN , with the opportunity to provide occasional coverage at our Dandridge, TN clinic as needed. Rehab Group provides a fun and supportive work environment in an energetic outpatient setting.

DAYS/SHIFTS

Part-time Monday, Wednesday, & Friday :

8am - 5pm

Duties:

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Provide direct patient care using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and other physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, treatment plans, and the rehabilitation process. Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses. Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology in daily patient care. Assist with discharge planning and patient education to promote successful recovery. Treat a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligible for licensure). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Outpatient experience is preferred; experience in inpatient, skilled nursing, or home health settings is also valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ability to travel between the Morristown and Dandridge clinic locations as needed. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and pursuing ongoing professional development.
