Key Qualifications:

Active Tennessee PTA license or eligibility for licensure. Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to student success. Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued, but not a requirement. Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and administrators. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Access to reliable transportation and readiness to travel to various schools across the district.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide school-based physical therapy services as directed by a supervising Physical Therapist. Assist in developing and executing individualized student treatment plans and therapy objectives. Foster students mobility and independence to support their participation in the classroom setting. Accurately document sessions and student progress, meeting all program and compliance standards. Work collaboratively with the supervising PT, educators, special education staff, and other service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team planning, as needed.
