Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working throughout a vibrant school district near White House, Tennessee. This position is designed for those passionate about pediatric physical therapy and who thrive in collaborative, dynamic educational settings. Youll play an integral part in helping students achieve greater mobility and functional independence so they can flourish in their school environment.
What Youll Do:
Deliver physical therapy interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals in line with student needs Promote student engagement, physical access, and participation in various school activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress per district guidelines Collaborate closely with the supervising PT, school faculty, and other special education professionals Travel regularly between multiple school locations within the district to meet students needs Attend IEP-related meetings and participate in the development of student support plans as necessary
What Youll Need:
Active Tennessee licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Physical Therapist Assistant Previous pediatric or school-based physical therapy experience is a plus, but not required Reliable transportation to travel between district schools Effective communication, organization, and teamwork abilities District support and a diverse caseload will provide an engaging professional experience, with full-time hours preferred to meet current district needs.
