Mayfield Road, Arlington, TX 76015 Join Our In-House Rehabilitation Team Town Hall Estates Arlington is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation department. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and PRN (Per Diem) positions to provide exceptional therapy services in our skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll play an important role in helping residents regain mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence through individualized, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, gait, and functional independence. Monitor resident progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress toward established goals. Instruct residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and the safe use of assistive devices. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care conferences as appropriate. Maintain compliance with state, federal, Medicare, and facility regulations. Qualifications Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current CPR certification preferred. Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
