The PT Technician supports our Physical Therapists in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with prescribed exercises, preparing equipment and treatment areas, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or other healthcare careers to gain hands-on experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting. Responsibilities Assist patients with prescribed exercises and equipment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Prepare treatment areas, exercise equipment, hot packs, traction, and other clinical equipment. Observe patients during exercise and communicate questions or concerns to the supervising PT. Clean and prepare treatment tables and equipment between patients. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment. Monitor clinic supplies and assist with inventory. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality. Stay attentive to the needs of patients and therapists and proactively offer assistance. Use downtime productively for cleaning, organization, learning, and other clinic needs. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, professional, and willing to learn. Friendly and comfortable interacting with patients. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Takes initiative and looks for ways to help.
