Contract Physical Therapy Assistant providing skilled patient care under a 13-week travel assignment near Beaumont, Texas. The role supports physical therapy teams by delivering therapy services and documenting progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled PTA services to patients based on physician's plan of care, ensuring quality and adherence to facility protocols. Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare team members to develop and modify treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions. Assist in patient education regarding recovery exercises and techniques to promote healing and independent function. Ensure compliance with all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations during clinical activities.
Qualifications:
Valid PTA license in the state of Texas. Current CPR certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Texas PTA license. Ability to work days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Strong communication skills. Ability to maintain a productivity rate of 92% or higher.
Preferred Skills:
At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
