Job Summary The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role includes implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and supporting patients in improving mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing Provide skilled therapy services in accordance with physician orders under PT supervision Communicate patient updates, needs, and referrals to the supervising Physical Therapist Implement and modify treatment plans under PT direction Measure and document patient motor function, strength, and performance Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust interventions as appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) SNF/long-term care experience preferred Knowledge of current treatment practices Familiarity with Net Health electronic documentation system preferred Benefits Competitive compensation (based on years of experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) - once a year has been completed.
