Job Description
This contract role supports a physical therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, providing hands-on patient care and assisting with treatment plan implementation. Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality physical therapy assistance to patients Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility policies Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper setup of treatment areas Execute therapist directives efficiently to meet patient care goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Current Texas PTA license CPR certification (or equivalent) BLS certification Experience working in a rehabilitation setting Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Preferred Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant Proven track record with at least 92% productivity Proven track record with 95% productivity Additional technical or vocational training in physical therapy assistance
