In this energetic and rewarding position, you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized care plans across diverse settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient care will contribute to transformative recovery journeys for individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Deliver hands-on therapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and mobility. Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the healthcare team effectively. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for ongoing care or transition to home or outpatient settings. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and self-care strategies to empower recovery. Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards during all procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care. Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other manual therapies. Experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt treatment approaches for diverse populations such as pediatrics, orthopedics, geriatrics, and patients recovering from acute care or orthopedic injuries. Excellent communication skills for educating patients and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
