ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop and maintain courses, including online as well as face-to-face courses as assigned in all three DPT programs; Participate in service activities including SHP, university, and professional committees as well as community service; and advise students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Academic doctorate (i.e. PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.) in physical therapy or related field. Licensed PT in the U. S. and eligible to be licensed in Texas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience as a clinical specialist with expertise in integumentary rehabilitation and/or orthotics and prosthetics (O&P), as well as two or more years of teaching experience in DPT programs or related fields. Established expertise in teaching and learning in online environments is a plus.
