Houston Physicians Hospital Therapy Clinic - League City is hiring a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant! Welcome to Houston Physicians Hospital Therapy Clinic - League City! Are you a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant seeking an extraordinary career opportunity at a state-of-the-art healthcare facility? Houston Physicians Hospital Therapy Clinic - League City is currently seeking to hire a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant! Physical Therapist Assistant at Houston Physicians Hospital Therapy Clinic - League City The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position will be responsible for daily patient physical therapy treatment involving frequent phone and in person interaction with both patients and physicians. The PTA will provide patient care as prescribed by the referring physician and based on the evaluation, assessment and plan of care designed by a Physical Therapist. The PTA will participate in patient education services as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Daily patient physical therapy treatment as prescribed by an evaluating Physical Therapist. Participate in treatment plan review and ongoing patient care reassessments. Accurate documentation to ensure timely and correct billing. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients and physicians. Provide necessary educational services and participate in facility in-service activities. Work to ensure a safe and clean working environment, including physical plant, equipment maintenance and supply inventory upkeep. Assumes any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the department manager.
Qualifications:
State Physical Therapy Assistant licensure required. Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum. Possess a current BLS certification. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with both patients and physicians. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes. Computer experience in windows, spreadsheets, and word processing preferred.
