Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled, hands-on therapy services. Key Responsibilities Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist with implementing and modifying treatment plans based on resident progress and clinical goals Monitor and document resident responses to treatment and functional improvements Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, exercises, and mobility strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal requirements Communicate resident progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care Qualifications Active Texas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license In good standing with all applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, geriatric rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred Familiarity with Net Health documentation software is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Passion for helping older adults maintain mobility, function, and independence Why Join FPACP?
