In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in the rehabilitation of patients with various physical ailments. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care. You will play a crucial role in implementing care plans and utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance patient recovery. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in accordance with medical standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively within the healthcare team. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Previous clinical experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy while providing patient support.
