In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care. Responsibilities Patient Follow-up:
Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.Professional Atmosphere:
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.Treatment Planning:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.Documentation:
Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.Patient Education:
Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and the care plan Requirements Valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) in good standing. Proven experience in physical therapy with familiarity in outpatient clinic settings. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles. Skilled in delivering various therapeutic techniques Strong understanding of care plans for diverse populations Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaborationKey Responsibilities Patient Follow-Up:
