Overview Small (two Physical Therapists), Outpatient, Orthopedic Physical Therapy Clinic specializing in manual therapy, seeking a licensed PTA who loves people and enjoys being part of an awesome team. We don't micromanage and we will equip you (if you desire) with the manual therapy skills to cultivate and foster your own patient load. New grads are welcome, but we'll take anyone with a heart to serve. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing personalized care plans for patients across various settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and home health services. Perform therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Support patient care activities by monitoring progress, providing education on exercises and injury prevention, and ensuring comfort throughout treatment sessions. Conduct detailed assessments of patient physiology and anatomy to inform treatment strategies and document responses to therapy. Participate in discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or other care environments, ensuring they understand their ongoing care needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, and neurological needs. Qualifications Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program; valid state licensure or registration as required. Proven ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs across diverse populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics. Excellent communication skills for patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to perform detailed assessments and adapt interventions based on patient progress and clinical observations. New Grads welcome!
