Implement physical therapy treatments aligned with clinical standards to facilitate patient recovery and functional improvement. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate care strategies and discharge planning. Maintain meticulous documentation of clinical assessments, treatment progress, and therapy outcomes in electronic health records (EHR). Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress expectations, and home care instructions to foster engagement and compliance. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices. Skilled in manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy; familiar with physical therapy treatment implementation across various patient populations. Ability to operate medical equipment safely while adhering to clinical protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions; capable of explaining complex concepts clearly. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management and medical documentation requirements.
