Rocky Mountain Care is excited to offer a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position in beautiful St. George, UT. This role features generous compensation and competitive hourly rate , all within a supportive and patient-focused clinical environment. We're excited to offer our PTA an additional $35-$45 per completed visit and a $10 hourly stipend for drive time. At Rocky Mountain Care, we believe quality care starts with taking care of our clinicians. Our home health visits are designed to prioritize patient-centered care over productivity pressure . We do not schedule 15-minute visits, avoid overbooking, and encourage our therapy teams to spend the time needed to deliver thoughtful, individualized care. Our therapy team collaborates closely to help patients recover, regain independence, and improve their quality of life across a wide range of conditions. Position Responsibilities Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant will: Carry out individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safe movement strategies Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process Assist patients in improving functional independence and overall quality of life Support patients with disabilities in achieving greater independence Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including Physical Therapists, OTs, and clinic staff Why Join Rocky Mountain Care?
