In this vital role, you will assist chiropractors with patient management, facilitate rehabilitation and physiotherapy services, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patients. Your expertise in patient service, anatomy, and medical terminology will contribute to delivering exceptional outpatient and post-acute care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, manage intake procedures, and ensure accurate documentation of patient histories and treatment plans Assist chiropractors during examinations and adjustments by preparing treatment rooms and handling manual therapy equipment Support physiotherapy and rehabilitation care by guiding patients through exercises, applying manual handling techniques, and monitoring progress Maintain patient confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive health information in accordance with privacy regulations Facilitate patient transfer methods safely using proper lifting techniques for inpatient, outpatient, or acute care scenarios Educate patients on physiotherapy routines, post-acute care strategies, and injury prevention to promote optimal recovery outcomes Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care plans and progress updates Qualifications Proven experience in patient service roles within hospital, outpatient, or clinic settings, preferably with physiotherapy or chiropractic practices Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques Bilingual (Spanish) Hands-on experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and patient transfer methods in acute or sub-acute care environments Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required; additional certifications in hospital medicine or orthopedics are a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds including geriatrics and individuals requiring inpatient or outpatient care Familiarity with physiotherapy equipment, rehabilitation protocols, and post-acute care procedures Ability to maintain high standards of patient confidentiality while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
