• Hunter Hollow is a flagship location for Rocky Mountain Care. We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant with full time availability. The building is immaculate, spacious, and offers an open, airy feel. Residents can stroll down Main Street within the building which offers an alfresco dining experience. We're excited to offer our therapists an opportunity to deliver patient centered care. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require. Hunter Hollow is a 105 bed SNF. We feature a 40 bed transitional care unit and a 1500 square foot rehab gym with the latest in rehab equipment including: four sci-fit bikes, electric parallel bars, electric stand in frame and tilt table, treadmill, ceiling light track system, and free motion pulley system. Our Physical Therapist Assistant will enjoy access to cutting edge technology as well as a great team to work with. The gym includes a full kitchen and bath for ADL training as well as a separate speech therapy treatment room. Our Physical Therapist Assistant will work alongside PT, OT and ST servicing a varied clientele including orthopedic (post surgical, multiple trauma, after fracture care, neurologic, and chronic disease). Our Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for the following: Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment. Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy, and report notes to the Physical Therapist. Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises. Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain. Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients. Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area.
