Job Description

Arlington Health and Rehab is looking to hire a Part time or Full time Certified Physical Therapy Assistant within our in-house therapy services! The ideal candidate will have experience in a SNF setting and have excellent social skills. However, we are willing to train the right candidate. We offer competitive pay and benefits. An applicant must have a current license, be able to pass a comprehensive background check, read and write English, and have excellent customer service skills. We offer very competitive pay that can be discussed at the time of an interview. We also reimburse annually for the cost of your license.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Experience working with elderly patients or in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required
  • Ability to adapt and adjust as you are working in the resident home environment
