Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant Signature Healthcare at Home - Everett Everett, WA Job Details Full-time $35 - $40 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications BLS Certification Driver's License Driving Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Full Job Description Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking to add a PTA for Snohomish County! This position would cover Snohomish County (Everett, Marysville, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Lake Stevens, Arlington, Mukilteo) for physical therapy home health services. This position has flexible scheduling with visits Monday through Friday day shift, with self-directed scheduling dependent on patient needs and territory. Duties and Responsibilities Provides direct physical therapy according to the directions of the physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care. Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance. Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training. Utilizes physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage. Observes and reports to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's condition. Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices. Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes, which will be incorporated into the patient's clinical record in prescribed time frames. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Have graduated from a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by CAPTE and have passed a national examination for physical therapy assistants. Must be licensed and able to practice in Washington State. Must hold and maintain an active BLS CPR certification. The ability to drive and/or have access to transportation for agency related travel (e.g. patients, community partners, etc.) is an essential function of the job. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clinicians with experience in Home Health or post-acute care. Familiarity with Homecare Homebase EMR. Schedule, Pay and Benefits Full-time flexible hours between Monday through Friday available, have ability to set own schedule. Hourly $35 - 40/ hour + Mileage Reimbursement.
