You would be part of a small team that makes decisions together, learns together, and is flexible and understanding to family culture needs for our employees. We have 1:1, 45-minute visit schedule and long lunch hours to stay on top of those pesky documentation needs. We will never double book you or give you a "Mill" schedule. If you are a decent PTA, you know what the duties are) Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Implement physical therapy treatments such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately in electronic health records (EHR) following clinical documentation standards. Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain procedures, foster understanding, and encourage active participation in therapy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to optimize patient outcomes. Support discharge planning by preparing detailed care plans for patients transitioning from inpatient or outpatient settings to home or other care environments. Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and clinical documentation protocols to ensure accurate medical documentation. Experience Prior experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology to support effective treatment implementation. Experience operating physical therapy equipment and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred. Skilled in performing clinical assessments and documenting findings according to clinical standards. Familiarity with outpatient care processes, acute care environments, and discharge procedures enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive patient support. Strong communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages—including pediatric and geriatric populations—and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
