In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, supporting patient recovery, and enhancing mobility. Your expertise will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, home health, and pediatric settings. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients across various settings such as clinics, hospitals, and nursing facilities Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy modalities to promote healing and mobility Operate and maintain medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments with precision and adherence to safety standards Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately in electronic health records (EHR) following clinical documentation standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, care plans, and injury prevention strategies to support ongoing recovery at home or in care facilities Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and maintain meticulous medical documentation for all patient interactions Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation practices aligned with healthcare regulations Skilled in the operation of medical equipment used for manual therapy and physical therapy treatments Experience with outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility, home health, or clinic environments—especially with geriatric or pediatric populations Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client engagement to foster trust and understanding Ability to perform clinical assessments accurately and contribute to detailed care plans and discharge strategies Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for seamless documentation and record keeping Embark on a fulfilling career that combines your passion for physiotherapy with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
