We are a therapist-owned outpatient rehabilitation clinic that has served the Spokane community for more than 20 years by providing individualized, one-on-one care that goes beyond traditional physical therapy. Clients choose Synergy because we take the time to understand the root cause of their symptoms and develop personalized treatment plans using hands-on care, movement education, and advanced rehabilitation techniques. Position Overview As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Synergy Healthcare, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You'll help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, neurological conditions, vestibular disorders, post-operative rehabilitation, and other movement-related conditions while building meaningful relationships throughout their recovery. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, gait training, functional activities, and other evidence-based interventions. Provide hands-on treatment and assist with manual therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor patient progress, communicate changes in functional status, and collaborate with supervising therapists to adjust treatment plans. Educate patients on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management strategies. Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists, and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and team learning opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and skills. Qualifications Current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant license. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
