Working closely with a licensed Physical Therapist and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll deliver meaningful, one-on-one care that directly improves patients' quality of life—every single day. What You'll Do Provide direct, compassionate patient care by carrying out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist and physician. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities that support recovery, independence, and long-term wellness. Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes clearly and accurately in accordance with PT Board standards. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress and address concerns. Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings to help shape patient goals and outcomes. Educate patients, families, and caregiving staff on exercises, safety, and maintenance programs to support successful discharges. Support the training of Restorative Aides in partnership with the nursing team. Keep the therapy gym and treatment areas clean, safe, and welcoming. Help maintain therapy equipment and report any issues to ensure everything stays in great working order. Take part in in-service trainings and continuing education opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge. Who You'll Work With You'll work alongside Physical Therapists, nursing staff, patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on patient success. What We're Looking For Education & Experience Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state. Comfortable using electronic documentation systems such as Casamba and PointClickCare . Skills That Shine Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you connect easily with patients, families, and coworkers. Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, and visual instructions. Licensure & Certification Active PTA license in good standing with the state board. Commitment to meeting all continuing education requirements. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role that includes frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and assisting patients with mobility. You'll use a full range of motion and strength to support patient care in a safe and professional manner. Work Environment Clinical setting with a low to moderate noise level.
