This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative expertise with clinical support, ensuring patients receive the highest quality service from the moment they walk through our doors. You'll be the friendly face and organized voice that keeps our practice running smoothly, all while contributing to a positive, healing environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance coverage, and assist with intake procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Chirotouch. Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing clinic management software like Chirotouch, ensuring optimal patient flow. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear communication and accurate information to patients and providers. Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verifications, and handle billing processes including medical collection and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate and organized medical records, including documentation review and filing of patient charts in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Assist clinicians with clinical documentation review, care plan coordination, and basic medical administrative support. Handle patient inquiries regarding billing, appointments, or medical records with excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Help provide therapies for the patients. Requirements Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably in chiropractic or dental clinics, with knowledge of office management and front desk operations. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Chirotouch; familiarity with Medisoft or other health information management software is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and Medicare guidelines for accurate documentation and billing. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; typing speed of at least 10 key and familiarity with multi-line phone systems. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, documentation review, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Demonstrated customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
